Today in Women’s Fitness ClothingHere’s a great healthy and quick recipe.ASPARAGUS AND CHERRY TOMATO OMELET
I bought a women’s fitness magazine the other day and almost every page equated fitness with losing weight. Get bikini ready in seven days! Lose 12 pounds by tomorrow by doing these three exercises! Hungry? Eat seven almonds! Fuck that.
…
Your body was made for so much more than being looked at, deprived of food, and enjoyed by others. Your body was made for kicking some ass.
..
During the process of training for the marathon, … [m]y attitude toward my body changed as well. I stopped really thinking about how it looked and instead focused on getting shit done, realized that any physical changes I was seeing were happening because my body knew best how to shape itself to complete the task at hand.
…
No I don’t know how much I weigh, nor do I care whether or not I’m ready for bikini season. Am I ready for running season?

It’s been a while since my first post, but don’t get me wrong - I’m still working out three times a week!
Most people think I’m crazy when I tell them that - I think they imagine 4 hour workouts every second day, but actually it’s only 30 minutes each time.
I started going to the Curves women’s gym in my area about 6 months ago when I first made this blog, and my fitness is really improving already.
My hubby tells me I look much better - but I also feel better! Every day seems brighter, I sleep better and I feel like I have more energy.
Of course, I do some dieting (I had to give up some of my favourite choccy treats - ouch!), but it’s all worth it. I have more energy to play with the kids - that alone is worth it!
If you’re a women and considering improving your fitness, start today! You won’t regret it :) Next I’ll be posting some pics of my fitness pals and my progress :)
So I’ve finally done it - I’ve joined my local women’s gym and I already feel GREAT!
Maybe that’s jumping the gun a bit, as I’ve only do a few of the 30 minute workouts so far, but I have to say: it’s not as hard as I thought it would be!
Follow me on my fitness journey as I blog about the workouts I’m doing, my diet plan and anything else fitness related! I’m feeling pretty excited about it at the moment, and I think it’s going to be a fun time - so keep in touch because I’d love to have you along for the ride!
If any other women are attending a gym and blogging about it, I’d love to hear from you! Get in touch and we can network our blogs :)
Anyway, back to the gym again for me - LOL!
